Things you need to know:

  1. Respect is what will guide our class. Please respect Mrs. Carlyle, others and his/her property including their rights and feelings. Most of all and respect yourself!
  2. No student has the right to keep another student from learning.
  3. Late work will be accepted for partial credit within one day from deadline, unless determined otherwise (make-up work for absences due according to board policy)
  4. Water with a lid is permitted. No other drinks, gum or candy will be allowed!
 
Your Responsibilities      

1.   Be respectful.

  1. Come to class on time and enter classroom in an orderly manner.
  2. Come to class prepared (students will not be allowed to return to their locker to retrieve forgotten materials).
    1. pencil, blue / black ink pen.
    2. Paper
    3. 1” 3 ring binder
    4. Any homework/class work/projects due.
    5. Student agenda- record any homework, upcoming tests or quizzes.
  3. Head papers correctly.
    1. First / Last name, date and period in the upper right hand corner of your paper.
    2. Title each assignment
  4. Enter class with a positive attitude.
  5. Ask for any make-up work.

  4. Have make-up work available, upon your request.
  5. Be positive, fair and listen.
  6. Expect your best effort.
  7. Enforce rules for the safety and learning of all students.
